I took german (deutsch), i can speak it pretty well, i cant speak spanish that well thou, i can also speak very weak french.

Except in my case where they figured I was too stupid to take french so I didn't have to take a language

Haha. You guys suck. In Alberta you only have to take French in Grades 4,5 and 6. Starting in Grade 7 it becomes optional, unless you're in French Immersion.
